The homeowner wanted a "no main light" design with clean ceilings, but still needed flexible task and ambient lighting that could adapt as furniture arrangements changed. Traditional recessed lighting was too permanent and inflexible.

ERDU installed recessed magnetic track throughout the living areas, with a mix of spotlights, linear lights, and a custom folding light fixture as a design feature. The 48V magnetic track system allows tools-free fixture swapping.

The project achieved the desired minimalist aesthetic with full lighting flexibility. The homeowner has reconfigured the layout 4 times since installation without calling an electrician. The system received praise from the interior designer and was featured in a local design magazine.
